Inside the gaming truck

YWH Northumberland’s first ever youth event brought over 40 young people to the Hub HQ on Cavan St, Port Hope, to enjoy an afternoon of games, both inside the building and in a gaming truck on the driveway.

Whether they enjoyed Connect 4 or fortnite, youth were excited to see the blank canvas on which the Youth Wellness Hub will be created, to share pizza with friends and to meet our staff, Alexis and Jennifer. Members of our new Youth Advisory Council volunteered to help the event go smoothly and got their first taste of working with us too!

Thanks to everyone who came along, to the local businesses who helped us to lay on the event, and to parents and caregivers for bringing your young people and joining in too.

We can’t wait to see 15 Cavan St filled with youth again soon!
